Samantha’s path to IADA is rooted in her deep experience with Illinois’ titling and administrative systems. Before joining the association, she worked at the Secretary of State’s office, where she built a strong foundation in auditing and vehicle title processing. That background made her transition to IADA a natural fit, allowing her to continue similar work in a more close-knit, collaborative environment. After five years with the organization, she now serves as an Advanced Auditor, helping streamline workflows, train fellow auditors, and ensure dealership paperwork is processed efficiently and accurately.

In her current role as a Title Audit Specialist, Samantha focuses on reviewing dealership submissions to confirm mileage accuracy, proper signatures, and overall compliance, all while helping speed up the Secretary of State process. Known as a problem-solver, she takes pride in supporting title clerks and making sure issues are resolved quickly and smoothly. She acts as the office superhero, stepping in to calm stressful situations and make sure everyone involved is taken care of.

Samantha was drawn to IADA because of its smaller, family-like atmosphere, a welcome change from the high-pressure environment she experienced previously. While the transition was largely smooth thanks to her prior knowledge, learning a new system presented a challenge she embraced. Today, she values the supportive culture and the opportunity to make a direct impact on both her team and the dealers she works with.

Outside of work, Samantha stays busy with a wide range of interests centered around family and fun. She lives in Stonington, about 45 minutes from Springfield, and enjoys the quiet of her morning commute before turning up the music on the drive home. She and her husband, who together have a blended family of children ranging from 9 to 21, also run a DJ business on the side, frequently working weddings and hosting music bingo events, with Samantha managing the photo booth and helping coordinate events.

She’s also an active member of an axe throwing league, a hobby she shares with her 18-year-old son, who is heading to his second world championship competition in Tulsa. When she’s not working or competing, Samantha enjoys camping, boating, and spending time with her large extended family. One of eight siblings, she remains close with her family across Illinois and often visits her mother in Florida. Having grown up in the Springfield area and graduated from Waverly High School in a class of just 14 students, Samantha has maintained strong ties to the community that shaped her, bringing that same sense of connection and care into her work every day.
