NADA’s Stanton Discusses Vital Role of Dealers to EV Sales
Vital Role of Dealers to EV Sales
By Jared Allen, NADA Vice President of Communications
NADA President and CEO Mike Stanton sat down to discuss the coming transition to electric vehicles and the role of dealerships in making that transition a reality.
“Franchised dealers are making big investments in the future of selling EVs. We’re part of the solution. We’re essential to rolling out electric vehicles to the mass market.” Stanton also shot down the myth that dealers are reluctant to sell and service EVs, which is being spread by a handful of companies that want to destroy the franchise system. “Dealers are excited about the future, they’re excited about electric vehicles, they’ve made the investments, and they’re ready to go.”
